About David

Currently I partner with my wife Sylva McClurkin who has been a realtor for over 20 years working the Houston area and Fort Bend County.  Upon my retirement in 2017, the decision was made to become a licensed real estate agent and assist Sylva.  

As a former CPA, business perspectives help to complement Sylva in our efforts to serve clients.  That experience makes it easier to understand and explain real estate transactions and forms.  I tend to be very detailed oriented and diligent regarding real estate efforts because of prior corporate experiences.  There is great interest in the technical aspects of home maintenance and operation.

Also, as a veteran, there is the desire to help other veterans in their search for a home.

Sylva is a very experienced real estate agent.  She demonstrates a woman's touch in analyzing the location, design, and flow of homes for client satisfaction.  Having worked with patients as a Registered Nurse for many years and having a MSN degree in nursing, Sylva has a deep care and compassion for clients.  As a former nursing manager, she has useful organizational and communication skills.  Better yet, she enjoys negotiating since that has been a life skill since childhood.  She and I both want clients to get the best value for their purchase or their sale.

Therefore, together Sylva and I can offer you good service by merging our different backgrounds, training, and experiences.  We truly care for our clients and will make every effort to succeed in your satisfaction.
