Here are a few personal notes:
*My first career was dedicated to education of students from kindergarten to college, with the last fifteen years given to guidance counseling in middle school. You should know that by now my sense of humor has broadened immensely!
*I love catching someone's eye and offering a smile, which usually wins a smile in return. I am fascinated with learning about people of all ages. I enjoy hearing about their interests and preferences. I love to visit one-on-one with individuals, but also truly enjoy being in a large group environment. I guess you could say I am a "people person."
*My Dad being a Texan and my Mom a Californian, I've grown up in both states - elementary years in Texas, junior high and high school years in California. College was back in Texas again! I had fun exploiting my Texan AND Californian accents in opposite states!
*I appreciate the natural beauty of our America and have traveled widely across 48 of our 50 states, learning about the unique cultures of each region. I also have enjoyed traveling abroad to Canada, Mexico, Central America, and Israel. I hope to continue my travel adventures both in the U.S. and in countries around the globe.
